I had similar problem with my 33. It closes after several tries because
vibrations from slamming the door let it go... Firstly you should try with lots
of WD-40 or similar product. Oil does not penetrate inside quickly enough. When
the lock starts to work properly, wipe it clean from outside and re-oil it.
It worked for me...
