spider speedo fluctuation

Another possible cause for the speedo wobbling, as Fred DiM is
always happy to point out, is an replacement cable that is too short.

FWIW, I inquired on the digest about a half year ago about speedo/tach
cable lube and the overwhelming response then was graphite.
