Careful now, the 1800 in an Alfa 75 is not the same as a 1750 in a 105
car. I believe the biggest reason not to do what the original poster asked
about is that the studs don't line up. The 1600 and 1750 are similar, but
the 2000 is a bigger motor. I used a 1600 head gasket on a 1750 that had
sealing problems, so those line up. I'm fairly sure the 2000 studs are
farther apart, and won't line up. A 2000 head on a 1600 block is a no-go,
AFAIK.
