Oil additives

Hi,
Has anyone had experience of using Extralube ZX-1 friction eliminator in
an Alfa, I use Mobil1 oil in my 2.0TS 155 but a mate swears by ZX-1 (in
his non-Alfa) and has suggested I give it a try for "extra protection". 

I'm not too sure so just wondered if any of you had tried it (or a
similar product).
