185/400 Tires

Hi all,

Has anyone tried fitting the Michelin X 185/400 tires in place of the
165/400s using the standard wheels on the older Alfas (2600s, 1900s, etc.)? 
They are about 1 inch larger diameter but this should only increase the
circumference by about 4.5%. Would there be offset problems using
these tires on the original wheels?
