I expect to install a 1500cc Alfa boxer engine in my gyroplane, it may be
the very first ever!   Many gyro owners use 2 cycle engines which are hard
to control and are certainly far less reliable than 4 cycle engines.  At my
'tender' age, I'm looking for the best possible reliability while I'm in the
air.  I've been asked how it feels to ride in an open gyro copter, I'll pass
on what all the experienced owners tell me, "It's like flying a motor cycle
in the sky."   I'll add, only lots safer.  Fred Di Matteo out of the
