The April 1996 issue of European Car has a great article about Horst Kwech's
1971 Trans-Am GTV. The article outlines the development of the 1750 GTVs as
the replacement for the GTAs.  It also chronicles the 1971 season, in which
the Alfas battled the Pete Brock 510s for the under 2.5 liter championship.  

Re: the Digest post about Kwech's 1971 car's possible whereabouts, the article
stated that the owner at the time of writing (in CA)  had restored the car but
was offering it for sale. Color photos in the article show it in the
orange/blue paint scheme it wore in the '71 season.
