"disegno de Bertone" badge types

Now that the GT badge placement issue is all cleared up (!?), I was
wondering if anyone can tell me about the different types of "Bertone"
badges and in which years they were used.  I've seen two badge types listed
by parts vendors, one in aluminum and one in plastic, with the plastic badge
described as the "later" version. When did the black plastic badge make its
debut?  (My guess is with the first series 1750 cars.)
