3-leading-shoe brake adjustment

Dear Digesti,

I am writing you to ask for the instruction on how to adjust 3-leading-shoe
brake on a Giulietta. I struggled to reduce its brake pedal travel by simply
adjusting brake shoe adjusters, but seems far from enough.

As is always said about 3 leading shoe brake adjustment, I simply backed off
3 adjusters and each was tighten by 1 click from the point the shoe touches
the drum. Yes, I've done that, however, left brake shoes do not fully
squeeze the drum even when all the adjusters are back off to the limit. On
the contrary right shoes easily squeeze with some more clicks left to
release.

As a result, I had to balance L&R brakes to allow right brake shoes more
travel than desired. That naturally gives too much brake pedal travel.

That is the story; Please advise me the points I should go over.
Should I reassemble all 3 shoes in the left, or check master cylinder rod
instead?

All brake shoes & cylinders, master cylinder have been already overhauled
with new parts. Steel braided hoses also equipped.
Thanks in advance,
