When we visited the Alfa factory in the early 80s, we were
surprised to see vending machines selling wine in the lunch
rooms. At the time I remember thinking, "Oh boy, one more
reason the fit and finish of these cars is less than perfect."
Of course alcohol is part of the culture, but to an American
it seemed strange.

BTW I think the original story is improved if it's changed
to state that a Galliano bottle was found in the door.
