I had wondered about this earlier when I was trying to figure out what
to call the ugly protuberances on my bumpers (which I subsequently
learned was 'overrider' or 'rostri gommati' (J. Hertzman, AD-?,
Subject: rostri, Aug 28, 1998).  As a data point, my 71 has them
(unfortunately).  Which leads me to ask again: if anyone has a rear
bumper for a series 1 1750 GTV (sans overriders) that they no longer
want, I would gladly give you money (for it).
