Starters failing

the common reasons for slowly-turning starters are electrical. these
include: worn brushes, brushes sticking in their holders, dirty comutator=

or poor connections in the electrical system. Another reason a starter wi=
ll
turn slowly is that the bearings are worn to the point that the armature =
is
touching and dragging agsainst the field magnets.
