164 ride

Ok Gurus:

91 164 with standard suspension, only mods are SuperPro Urethane
bushings. (love 'em)

Compared to other 164s I have driven lately, mine has a stiffer ride in
front, unrelated to the bushings...It was stiff before the bushings as
well. 
This reminds me of my old VW GTI with adj. Konis turned up all the way,
sort of jiggly. I even went so far as to switch strut assemblies with a
recently bought pair from a wrecked 164. Same ride... Hmmm.

maybe I just need to gain weight....?

Ideas?
