Thanks, but.....
I'll have to admit that I forgot to mention that I had already tested the idle
switch. Pretty stupid thing since it was the first potential culprit that
entered my mind too. :-(

What I maybe should do, is test the idel connector from the large Motronic
connector instead of directly under the butterfly. There is a slight possibility
that a short along the way could make the Motronic believe that the throttle is
closed although the switch works.

BTW,
About the connector behind the cardbord.
Been there, done that.
Nowadays nice and shiny :-)
