Boxers with inboard (no Alfa content)

'85-'96 Oltcit (romanian built on Citroen mechanics)
Citroen: GS ,Visa (were built upto mid -eighties)
All of these were aircooled as well
Here are 2 more advantages of the inboard:
These aircooled motors were always overcooled.The flow generated by the fan
bolted to the crankshaft was really big.So some of it forcefully blew over the
rotors trough ducts.Also much bigger diameters rotors than those that would
fit inside the wheel were used.The cars had so much brake stopping power (had
discs in the rear and were a light, relativly slow car for family transport),
that the power-assist was not necesarry and was not used.A weird thing whas
that the parking brake was acting on the front wheels with little pads and
mechanics inside the front callipers.
