What is going to be next after this, is the government going to decide
they have to control our diets...

I believe the suggestion that the government should regulate speed
directly was based on the assumption that if the speed laws were
constantly and consistently enforced, then we would ALL start
demanding more rational speed laws. There's not much pressure for that
now, as enforcement is sufficiently lax to allow most of us to drive
as fast as we want without penalty, so long as we don't get silly
about it. But what if I had to run up to Louisville today, and found
myself forced to go all the way through Kentucky at their limit of 65?
Or, worse, having to travel the breadth of East Texas at 70? All of a
sudden me and about a million other American drivers would lose that
So What attitude, and start looking for political candidates running
on the Pedal To Metal platform.
