Side mirror dropped off

Hi All

While adjusting the passenger side mirror today, it just sheared off at the
ball joint and fell off!

Does anyone have a recommended fix for this - brazing? ball joint
fabrication/replacement? entire mirror replacement?

The shaft looks like its made of brass and it is a round style mirror from a
71 GTj.
