Pertonix Ignitior -- Antti S. question

We have these on two cars and a similar unit by Compufire on a third. We
have been using them for less than a year and have had no trouble so far.=

My friend had one of the Pertronix units that was defective right from th=

box. He has replaced it and has had no further trouble. The Compufire uni=

is in my Saab Sonett (Ford V-4), in the Bosch distributor. The place from=

which I bought the unit (a VW specialist) only stocked the Compufire
because they claimed they had too much trouble with the Pertronix.
