Wanted and Re: Berlina in OZ

Wanted at a reasonable price: Driver's side interior door
handle for a 1983 GTV6. It broke shortly after I bought the
car (in June) and I'm getting tired of pulling on the little
piece of wire inside the door when I get out. Although, the
perplexed looks on the faces of anyone else trying to escape
the driver's seat are rather worthwhile...but, no, I'd like
a handle again.

Also wanted: Does anyone still sell the large
serpent-eating-man black decals (12-18" in length) anymore?
Looking for a large, obnoxious one to stick on the GTV to
allow positive ID to made by passed up motorists. I used to
see them in catalogues in the late 80's.

Re the find in Australia: A 71 Berlina for the equiv. of
US$250?!? I'll take it! Oops...guess I can't get it. Anyway,
the clutch is probably stuck due to rust or corrosion.
Suggest a bit of spray oil in via whatever opening you can
find. Replace the clutch hydraulic fluid too...that might
help the force to separate things. It's almost a 30 year old
car, so depending on your definition of 'money pit' it
sounds like a decent deal. Unless you have to pay twice as
much in taxes to even put it on the road. The Alfa 4
cylinder engine and drive line are reliable and not terribly
expensive to keep up, so I'd say 'go for it!'
