Dreaded Click of Death

     >Alfa Romeo would have you replace the gearsets, motors, armatures,
     >etc. which are all screwed together into a single assembly which
     >they sell as a unit for hundreds of dollars. The only things that
     >are actually broken are two $0.50 gears. There's a fellow in Brit-

Can ANYONE PLEASE get me the contact information for the fellow in
Britain? I too have heard the click of death and currently have the
stepper motor disconnected. I haven't replaced it yet because I
haven't had a spare $300 lying around to order a new stepper motor. (I
do have the ARDONA video and tech bulletin, though.) I would be very
grateful for the opportunity to replace the gears rather than change
     out the whole unit.
