losing passengers

     While I hope this was tongue-in-cheek, I actually did lose a passenger 
     this way. We were visiting relatives, and I was offered a ride in a 
     home built go-kart, made from a 125 cc motorcycle engine and trans. It 
     was wide enough to seat two, so I took my son, about 8 or 10 years 
     old. As we got going faster and faster, I finally dumped him on one of 
     the corners. He wouldn't get back on the kart, implying that I did it 
     on purpose! Fortunately, it was a hard turn, at low speed, so only his 
     pride was hurt. He doesn't trust my driving to this day!
