Replica Sprint Zagato

Recent postings have discussed the replicas of the Tubularo Zagato
that are in the works from Eriminas. Someone interjected that a
replica of the older Sprint Zagato would be of greater interest
(well, at least to that person).

Just by coincidence, the February issue of Keith Martin's "Sports
Car Market News" arrived recently. On page 44, Keith is reviewing
a '61 Sprint Zagato that sold at the December Brooks Auction in
London for a mere $36,052 - well below the usual $50 - 60,000 that
these usually bring. The reason for the low price? SCM reported:
"SZ's, as SCM has mentioned before, are essentially rebodied
Giulietta Sprints. Even today, you can order a fresh SZ body
from Galbiati, and in a few months it will arrive." (The
implication was that the car sold in London might have been a
  "new" Sprint Zagato).

So, that's your solution for a replica - heck, some would say an
original - SZ. Just find a rough Giulietta Sprint, order a new
body (hmm, wonder what they go for - anyone have an idea?), and
you're on your way.
