Watch the behavior of male vs. female birds, bees, bovines, cats, apes,
what-have-you and come back with a straight face and tell me there
aren't fundamental NATURAL (not nutural) differences between female and
male brains and how they operate.

But "Men Mars" suggests precisely the *learning* to sympathize first
when dealing with most women and some men that you suggest is
beneficial.  The book *also* specifically points out that its
generalizations about men do not apply to all men, and ditto for women.
By and large it pegs the nail right on the head.  Have you even read the
book?

Where is it not?

I really fail to see how my girlfriend's grouchiness and
hypersensitivity is a culturally-induced phenomenon.  How would you
explain it?

Would any women on the list care to comment on David's apparent
assertion that PMS is something your mothers, or perhaps our nasty
patriarchal society, has caused you to imagine?
