No doubt environment has a lot to do with it.  Before we got married,
I made my wife learn to drive a manual (of course, it was in
the truck and not the Alfa).  Since we've been married (7 months now),
she's so far learned to change the battery and plugs.  She even cleaned
the K+N and helped change the water pump on the truck.  Hopefully
by next year, I'll have trained her to do engine rebuilds... :-)
