Re: Vendors on the digest

Bill Harkell asks for opinions please on making his Alfa products known to the
digest, beyond the six lines in his sig paragraph.

The current discussion of this subject started when questions had been raised
about TecnoMagnesio wheels, and Dave Anderson, being exceedingly scrupulous,
volunteered that as a dealer he would be happy to answer questions about the
wheels, but off the Alfa Digest please.

I think Ben Dixon had it exactly right that "since it is info that has been
specifically requested, im sure noone would consider it improper if you gave
us info you have that is relevant. - - People who make their livings selling
alfa-related products should be able to give info as freely as anyone, so long
as it has been requested."

Joel Hailey at Centerline Products, with his extremely discrete sig line,
participates fully and usefully and does exactly as Ben Dixon suggested, as
when in AD7-373 he gave a very informative answer (which included his
products) to a question about retrofitting later engines in Giuliettas. Made a
very good impression. Every word he posts is worth reading.

As they say, my tuppence worth.
