Since Mr. Akins has decided to attack me publically by (mis)quoting
my private e-mail out of context, I think it fair that it be known
what I actually wrote him.  Perhaps next time Mr. Akins has a
"personal message" he'll use *personal* private e-mail instead of
forcing it onto the digest.

So, your vehicle's seat failed from a secondary, not even a primary,
collision - and yet it's the SUV that's singled out for criticism.  Not
even the *driver* of the SUV - the SUV itself you blame.

I'm sorry you've been injured, but I really wish all you car-size bigots
would give it a rest.
