101 Giulia Spider production

Hi, here's a question for the historians...

I'm trying to find out in which years 101 series Giulia Spider 1600s 
were produced in right hand drive by the factory. I have been told 
previously by a couple of people that they were only made in RHD 
during 1964, and only as normales.

Is it possible to tell from the VIN whether a given car is truly a 
factory RHD or whether it was an aftermarket conversion? Is there a 
list of numbers somewhere?
