Koni shock lifespan

Kevin - you ask about how long Koni shocks last -

I have put Koni's on every car I have had in the past umpteen years. At least
the cars for which Koni made replacements. I have not had to replace a worn
out shock absorber with the Koni name. A list, from whatever memory that I
may have left:
66 Cortina GT - 50K miles plus when sold
69 Fiat 124 coupe - 35K miles when sold
74 SAAB 99 - 65K plus when sold
71 Capri - 20K miles when sold
84 VW GTi - 45K miles when sold
76 Alfetta GT - 15K miles, and still going strong, thank you very much

The only ones which felt the least bit weak were the ones on the GTi. They
weren't on the last setting when I sold the car though, so I would imagine
that they still had plenty of life left in them. Bottom line: I never had to
worry about the lifetime warranty. That is one reason that I have always gone
back to Koni's. They are a quality product; one that I can count on. I have
no stock in the company, just satisfaction with the product.
