Re: 1966 Sprint GT production figures

In AD7-317 Anthony Licalzi asks for production figures for the 1966 Sprint
GT, adding that "A book I have shows 6129 for the Sprint gt veloce and only
135 for the Sprint gt. Is this correct?"

Fusi says yes, approximately; 6,128 for the Sprint GT Veloce and 133 for the
Sprint GT. The logic is simple; there were zero Sprint GT Veloces in 1965, and
zero Sprint GTs in 1967. Production of the base model stops as production of
the enhanced version starts. Totals show 19,628 Sprint GTs 1963-66 and 12,501
Sprint GT Veloces 1966-68, which is when the 1750 came in; just twenty-seven
Sprint GT Veloces in 1968, against 10,418 1750s. (All numbers omitting CKD and
RHD for simplicity.)
