Calling All East Bay Area Alfisti,
	I am having a problem with my trunk, the damn thing seems to be
stuck, it won't unlock despite my best efforts to yank the cable, and the
trunk lid to open it.  When I looked underneath to try to see what the
problem was through the little access hole I found it blocked by a piece
of wood which I suspect may be the wooden-handled screwdriver that I keep
in the trunk for mechanical work or other emergencies.
	I need somebody preferably in Berkeley with a Spider who will let
me come by and look in their trunk and get a clearer idea of the
positioning of the mechanism and the access hole so that I can figure out
a way to get it opened without having to cut a hole in the bottom.  Mine
is a 79 so anyone with as close a year as possible would be best, please
respond to me directly.  Meanwhile I am praying I won't get a flat tire or
a dead battery because if I do I am screwed.  Please respond asap, thanks,

	Oh by the way, I got my splints off today, I am typing with all
ten fingers now, so my e-mails don't take quite so long to compose.  The
fingers look a little rough but all the boo-boos are healed, all I need
now is for the two fingernails to grow back on my right hand.
