GTV-6 Bushing dilemma, Checking tranny fluid

Hello all,

I need some GTV-6 polyurethane castor rod bushings FAST! After deeming that a 115
castor rod ball joint mod. was too sketchy for me, I ordered some polyurethane
bushings from IAP. The fella said they would ship yesterday but upon follow-up
call, they are not going to ship till next week or May of 1999 (whatever).
The problem is that I was planning to do an auto-x on Dec. 13th but I don't want
to get an alignment (using the old bushings) and then pay for another alignment once
the poly's finally come in. Does anyone know where I can get some polyUs in less
than a week? I haven't tried superflex yet but I figure the price to ship them over
the pond in less than a week would be pretty steep. I've looked through the AR
Ricambi catalog and haven't seen any poly's.
Can you take the castor rod off without changing the setting by disconnecting it
at the suspension, and removing the nut that secures the other end to the body?
My other question regards the tranny. How does one check the gear oil level? I
see the plug on the side of the casing, does the fluid need to be as high as the
plug? How do you drain the tranny, and what should I refill it with?

Thanks!

Enzo
