spider driveshaft q

I am trying to get at the center support bearing on my '87 Graduate and cannot
figure out how to get the flange off (the one directly behind the center
bearing). I have obviously removed the retaining nut and there appears to be
nothing else holding it in place. Does it just need to be coerced? What am I
missing?
