milano vs. GTV6 CV joint length.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with both a
Milano Transaxle and my GTV6 transaxle.  There clearly is a difference in
the spacers between the rotors and CV joints, the Milano spacers are
shorter.  My question is as follows.  I installed a Verde transaxle in my
GTV6 last summer and used all my stock GTV6 spacers and CV joints.
Everything seems to work perfectly fine, but should I be using Milano
spacers and CV joints????   The triangles are the same width in both cars,
right ????   Do I risk damaging anything as I have it set up right now ????
