Mystery badge update!

The mystery badge in the Texas Hill Country newsletter, La Pilota, has
become somewhat less of a mystery. THC member Clay Widmann found a
reference to the A.I.A.C.R. in a Pat Braden web page which led him to
another site that identified the "Association Internationale des Automobile
Clubs...Reconnus" as the acronym's meaning. This was the predisessor of the
FIA (which formed in 1904). This badge is still for sale. The perfect gift
for that Alfa lover on your gift list.
