Re: Audi A4 vs 105 GTV (as a daily driver)

I've been driving my '67 GTV as a daily driver for roughly 15 years, BUT only
in fair weather. I still prefer to leave the car in the garage when rain is
in the forecast. I don't mind getting caught out in a surprise shower as
much as in a topless car, but I still consider the GTV a fair-weather car.
I don't mind it in hot or cold weather, but my wife grouses about the lack
of AC on long trips. (Her cars are the only ones we have with AC.)

Another point to consider is that if you've put that much time and money
into making the car look nice, you might not want to subject it to the abuse
of daily driving all the time. I say have a car you don't mind driving in
terrible weather and let the GTV be a treat on nice days.
