Conversion bar into PSI ??

Hi friends.

Steffi is staying in Washington for one year
and has a problem with her german car:
in Europe the measure for tyre pressure is "bar".
She told me that in the States this measure is "PSI"
and nobody is able to convert bar into PSI.

Can someone please tell me the conversion from bar to PSI ??
