So, has anyone actually used Power Brake Service? I would assume
that Alfa used a generic, booster that was common to many other,
more common, European vehicles, and as such, Power Brake Service
is familiar with rebuilding these things for Audis, Volvos (can I
say that word here?), and the like. Do their rebuilds hold up?
The cost is less than half the price of a new booster, so it does
seem appealing. My booster has long since given up the ghost, due
to the dreaded brake fluid poisoning. I keep driving it - you should
see my right leg! - but someday I really ought to get it fixed.
