Milano door pulls silicone fix

Besides the washer and L bracket fixes for Milano door pulls, I have had
some luck with silicone adhesive.  My wife and I were late for dinner or
some such event and while I was pulling the car out the driver' side pull
broke.  I guess if the passenger side broke I'd let it be a while, but hey
its the door I use!  So real quick I pulled back the screw cover and saw the
pull was cracked.  I unscrewed the pull, squeezed some clear silicone
adhesive onto the bracket (Are you telling me you don't have an open
silicone adhesive tube in your suit pocket?), and tightened lightly.  Took
literally five minutes, and the repair has held great.  Note, I also use a
small amount of clear silicone to "fix" the black gaskets around the
exterior door handles (another five minute fix).  I guess while silicone may
not be so good in the engine, it sure comes in handy elsewhere.  Hope this
