If power directly to the flasher runs the rear, but not the front, it is
actually <possible> for two contacts -- two bulbs to go bad at roughly the
same time.  Get the fronts to flash when the rears do.  I do not find a
working flasher to make much noise.

The switch, or power to it, is implicated, also.  Trace-down the fuse,
and check it.  Then the lines <to> (from) the switch.  You really need a
little multi-meter to check where there is power.  It seems unlikely for
<both> right and left contacts to fry at the same time in the switch.
Some have disassembled, and repaired.  You really need a meter, though, if
you are going to mess much with the electrics.
