Solex rebuild kits

     Some time ago (Aug 17 to be exact) Ben Higgins asked for info 
     regarding rebuild kits for Solex C-40-DDH carbs.  I have some info 
     from a source who prefers to remain anonymous.  It is
     actually a xerox copy of the box the rebuild kit came in.  Perhaps 
     with this a local autoparts place can order it for you.  I am sending 
     directly to Ben as well as general posting.  I can fax a copy of the 
     box but there is no more info there than what I have below.
     Info in the box is:
     
     Manufacturer: Meat & D.D.R.I.A.   (or might be Meat & D.O.R.I.A, hard 
     to tell).   No address or country given.  
     Part number: S 65 40-45 ADDHE
     
     Fits: Alfa Giulietta 1.3, 1.6, 1.8
                Alfetta   2.0
                Spider    2.0
     
           BMW Alpina 1.6
               1.8 TI/SA
