Oil Leak from under the timing Belt

Hi, I have an oil leak coming from the timing belt side of the engine, 
in
fact it is oiling up the belt, as well as rubber pieces below. This has
developed pretty recently. I bought the car about 3 month ago, and the 
other
day I did a long trip at high speed, where I believe the leak manifested
itself, because it was the first time I took  steadily (2+ hours) the 
engine
over 4500 rpms.

I read on the FAQ a piece from Brad Anessi where he mentioned that a
possible cause of the leak was the timing belt tensioner. I still have 
some
doubts and if anyone among you happen to know, I will be thankful.

1) Are there any other possible causes of this leak?
2) Where can I get a mechanical Tensioner?
3) Anyone knows the aproximate cost of the tensioner? Locally they are
telling me that a refurbished tensioner costs 120 bucks with 50% 
probability
of working :-( and a brand new one 600 bucks. Hmmm... pretty expensive.
