hi all - a friend sent this to me - hope it's true:

"...Also some good news!  I spoke to my friend in Italy and he said that last
week Alfa Romeo released a statement on the Italian news that Alfa Romeo
will re-enter the USA in year 2000 with Maserati and Lancia!!!!!  I can't
