Audi 60 minutes new slant

A friend of mine had an automatic Audi and managed to run himself down
with it. He read in the manual that the tickover should be set in drive
at a certain figure. He had the car running with the handbrake on and
was twiddling away when he noticed the revs dropping. He guessed that
the car was about to stall so he moved the throttle with his hand. The
cable nipple popped out of it's hole and jammed the throttle open a bit.
The next bit was apparently very upsetting for him as the car set off
towards him and pinned him to his garage door. He had a few bruises but
nothing serious. The stupidest thing he did next was to tell us what
happened. Beware, they bite back!
