Solex ADDHE

I have Solex ADDHE 45 (twin choke side draft) on my
'78 Spider, and they're bolted to the standard Euro
intake manifold and IAP's velocity stacks (pg 16 of
latest catalog). Did the factory ever use Solexes on
European Spider's?

The carb conversion was done on my Spider in '86, I'm
not sure why the mechanic chose to install the Solexes.
I've only found one place in California that carries parts.

My brother is headed to Italy for two weeks in October,
is there a Pep Boys equivalent where he can buy me a
few gasket sets? And how many lira would they cost?
