GTV6 cured

Howdy from Tennessee...

As many of you may recall, my 83 GTV6 was very ill. Many thanks to all of
y'all for your advice as I attempted to describe the problem as 'hiccuping'
leading eventually to total inability to run more than 20 feet.

Alas, the good gentlemen at Fiat Specialists-Ralph and Hugh-troubleshot the
car for two weeks finally correcting the problem: replacing a Bosch ignition
relay mounted just forward of the wiper washer fluid reservior on the driver's
side did the trick....She is back running like a race horse again.

By the way, some of you have given names to your Alfas. Well, my un-named
GTV6 was given a name by my wife (a name that I do not care for) and the kids
have adopted it so I guess I am stuck. The other day when I arrived home from
work, she said, "I did not know you were going to drive The Rat today?" I
said why would you call the Alfa 'The Rat'? She said its small and grey.
Then Saturday, the kids wanted me to take them to Blockbuster to get a movie.
At halftime of the Auburn v. LSU game, they came running downstairs screaming.
CAN WE GOT TO BLOCKBUSTER????CAN WE RIDE IN THE RAT????

Oh well...at least its not the COCKROACH
