I just ordered the "fit kit" to adopt a standard thule system to my 88 Milano.
The U.S. distributor doesn't carry it anymore, but you can order it direct
from Thule for 310 Swedish krona (about $25) for the part and shipping.  Their
part number is 1061-1-058.  I had to pay using a bank transfer which was
another $30.  This brings the total cost for the fit kit to $55--about what
the retail for the U.S. distributor would charge if they even had it in stock.

I sent a fax request and included an e-mail address and the whole deal was
done from there on out by e-mail (in English).
