V6 Liner O-ring

Awww Geezzzz,

While cleaning the piston tops of my 2.5L V6 I found that one of the liners
had worked, jumped, up a 1/8" to 1/4" and was rotating pretty easily. Am I
correct that I should replace the lower liner to block o-ring ? If so can I
replace it from the top, that is, NOT pulling the oil pans and rod stuff?
