One last (one hopes) late addition to Tony Lupton's arcane list of type-
numbers for unwanted/unwonted Alfas:

Tipo AR1090 = Alfa Romeo Dauphine (1959-1964)

This interesting car (which should have been named the "Princepessa", but
never mind) has the double distinction of being 

(1) Alfa's only rear-engined passenger car, and 

(2) Alfa's only single side-cam engine since the end of the Merosi era.

Thought you'd like to know. 

I wonder how many survive?
