Road America Track Time

If you have ever wanted to drive your Alfa, or other car, really fast on a
famous racetrack, here's your chance. The Chicago AROC will hold its annual
Road America Fall Challenge Time Trials over the weekend of October 3-4.
Just you against the clock on the world famous Road America 4 mile circuit.
$200 gets AROC members two days of time trials, practice sessions, and
touring. Non-members pay an additional $30. This event is limited to 65
cars, and always sells out, so move quickly if you're interested. Open cars
must have rollbars, all cars must have safety belts and pass a safety tech
inspection (battery bolted down, brake lights work, all lug nuts in place,
no leaks, tires aired up, etc), and good helmets are required. Wisconsin is
usually at about its fall color peak then, and the weather is beautifully
cool.  A Saturday AM driver's school is offered, but limited to 30 people,
for $50. Touring only is $40 (70 mph speed limit), free if you work a
