GTV 6 waterpump problem?

Hello alfa-digest.

I have -84 GTV 6 in good shape and milage is 11000 km.
Now I got some problem with it.:-(

It gets overheated after just a few minutes on the road and it starts to
smoke quite heavily.(blue/white smoke)
Could it be the waterpump that is broke?
